Love Expressed

In my search for Valentine's Day crafts I stumbled upon these Love Expressions letterpressed cards from Paper Source. Spelling out love and other lovely affections in different languages, I knew they were perfect for this year's Valentine's Day cards. There were lots of fun words used and these are some of my favorite expressions :)

"Kochanie" Polish for "My darling"

"Mon Coeur" is French for "My Heart" Now, how do you say "honey" in French?

"I love you" in Chinese.

"Alas de mi corazon" is Spanish for "Wings of my heart" (shout out to Pau Gasol).

"Mio inamorato" Italian for "My sweetheart"

"My soul" in Russian.

I love, love using the "less than" symbol and the number "3" to make a heart, and was sooooo happy to see it in this collection of love cards.

"Mahal kita" is Tagalog for "I love you"

Do you have a favorite love expression?

I don't have a favorite - too hard to pick one!
But the little cards you made, with the lovely hearts, so pretty!

What a brilliant way to make Valentines! I was debating what to do this year: do I make them myself or buy some to send? This year I went with buying some, but next year I'll definitely follow your lead.
