Triple Sparkle

I love the simplicity and classic look of the Simple Sparkle necklace, but felt the need to spice up the style and design with more color and sparkle. Enter the Triple Sparkle necklace: three rhinestone disco balls sandwiched between six glass pearls. Both disco balls and glass pearls come in a variety of colors and sizes, are put together in fun combos, and add a nice pop for those summer days!


Teal disco balls paired with lavender, pink, and deep purple glass pearls.


Clear rhinestones on black findings paired with pink, deep purple, and black glass pearls. Love these for night.


Larger disco balls for more oomph. These measure 12mm and paired with 8mm glass pearls make a bigger statement.

Simple Sparkle

I've been obsessed with rhinestone disco ball beads for the last few months. Can't really explain what it is about them, but the sparkle, the texture, and the coming together of little pieces make for a fun look to add to my jewelry design. To balance the detail of a single disco ball, I paired it with a handful of smooth glass pearl beads for a simple and asymmetrical yet balanced look.

Light, Lucite, Love Necklace

A clear faceted lucite bead, flanked by a cream glass pearl and rhinestone disco ball, create a sweet and shiny centerpiece for this necklace. Cut to reflect light, the clear lucite brings a brightness and depth to the look. It also captures light nicely.


The lucite love necklace has been displayed recent craft and design shows I've participated in, receiving a good reception from shoppers so I listed it in the etsy shop.





I love how wearing the lucite love necklace is like wearing some light.

Natural Stone Heart Charm Necklaces

With the interest of adding some more natural materials to my jewelry, wanting to build on my sterling silver inventory, and having the sunny and outdoorsy feeling of summer pulling at my heart strings, I found some natural stone charms that are worthy additions to the line. They are a dainty 12mm in size, have an A grade, and are heart shaped which is just perfect! I purchased 4 different stones with a variety of characteristics.


Labradorite. I could not properly capture the detail of this stone in a photo. It has layers, gray speckles, and deep almost electric/iridescent blue tones when caught in the light.


Blue lace agate. Lovely and soft layers of white and light blue make up the design of this charm. Like a delicate piece of lace wrapped around the stone. It has a very gentle and calm look.


White quartzite. This heart is faceted and captures the light when worn. I love how the neutral color allows it to transition easily among outfits.


Aquamarine. A beautiful color between blue and green, this smooth and polished heart holds plenty of layers and deposits within.


I'll have these available at the Silver Lake Jubilee this weekend!

Fancy Flower and Baubles Necklace

A vintage flower charm is the inspiration and centerpiece of this necklace. The flower sits on a brass base and has a rhinestone center and shiny metal wrapped clear acrylic petals. It's slightly simple yet quite fancy.

I wanted to give the flower a detailed and textural necklace to be a part of. Something that added a color accent, worked in some asymmetrical design, but didn't take too much away from the flower or the entire look. I played with emerald or amethyst colored beads, thicker gold fill chains, different sized and shaped beads, and the layout/order of each piece. And after many looks, I'm happy to share these necklaces with you!

The fancy flower is surrounded by various acrylic beads, glass pearls, and a rhinestone disco ball for a little more sparkle. Colors were mute, more neutral and natural. Above, the necklace is a mix of whites, beige, and brown. Below it's blacks and grays.

A darker color palette for your formal occasions.


Both hang slightly lower than your collar bone, are on gold fill chains, and make a fun statement. I love that they are one of a kind and utilize vintage pieces. I will have these pieces at Silver Lake Jubilee this weekend. Hope they find good homes :)

Post Holidays Shop Update

Asymmetrical Necklace Love

Sometimes I love the balance of symmetry, the repetition of pattern, the harmony of sameness. And sometimes I love the balance that comes in asymmetry.

I've been really into having a colorful string of beads and a single charm flow together, where main charm is integrated into one side of the beads and not the center of the necklace. It's more fun, and still pretty, when the focus is moved. A different form of beauty, if you will.

Below are a few of my new pieces.

It's light weight, sweet, charming :)

Beaded Wreath Necklaces

With some extra wreath charms lying around, I put together dream catcher inspired, flirty and soft, pendant necklaces. Adorned with wire wrapped beads and a centered faceted green briolette, the wreath is both amorous and delicate as the beads swing gallantly from it. The wreath and chain are gold plated and work for with day and night outfits.

Filigree Flower Necklaces

I love flowers. I love the edges and delicacy of doilies. I love the look of filigree. I love flowers on flowers. Here are a few honey my heart necklaces that I love.

Each necklace contains a filigree flower cup that holds flower charms and hangs daintily on a chain. I think the filigree detail adds a fun dimension and texture to the look.

Weekender: Farmers Market and a Neon Inspired Necklace

We went by a farmers market this afternoon. The sunny day provided the perfect backdrop for a nice afternoon stroll and made the produce and flowers look quite tempting.











We also went to see The Social Network matinee showing at our local theater. The colors of this neon dolphin display that tops the refreshment stand inspired me to create the following necklace.

I love aqua and light blues :)
