DIY: Glitter Key Caps

Key caps are a lot of fun. They make keys easily identifiable, unique, and bring personality to a key chain. I have a few Hello Kitty key caps, but when my friend pinned a link to this blog post about glittered keys, I knew I had to create some. The steps are simple and my keys are sparkling.

Begin with a clean key.

Apply glue to the top of the key, pour glitter over it, shake of extra glitter, allow drying time, and seal with clean nail polish! Then repeat on the other side of the key.

And there you have, keys to my heart.

It is always fun to add a little sparkle to your everyday life, and glitter on keys is a great way to do so.

Lovely Package Exchange

I recently participated in the Lovely Package Exchange organized by oh hello friend. It was a simple swap of small gifts wrapped up in lovely materials to spread holiday cheer. My partner in this swap was Lauren of laurendy home. Her blog was one I was happy to discover and I loved getting the opportunity to share this exchange with her. Below are the packages we mailed each other.

A little "hi" inside of the box for Lauren.

Surprises wrapped in colorful tissue paper. The pieces are tied up with gold and silver rope and a sequin band while a glittery gift tag sits atop it all.

Lauren sent me this awesome mix of neutral and bright! I am in love with the fluorescent color of the bow.

Happy packages.

Thank you Danni for organizing this swap and Lauren for being a generous partner!!

Have you gotten all of your gift wrapping done? I am happy to say that I have 3 more parcels to wrap up and I'll be ready for Christmas.

DIY Glittered Clothespins

Inspired by Creature Comfort's glittered clothespins and needing a fun way to display holiday cards, I quickly prepared some of my own. I heart that it's such an easy project, that the clothespins can be used in other displays, and that a little glitter makes everything better!

Started off with some gold glitter, mini clothespins from We Love Citrus, and glue.

Ended with some golden goodies!

Some Christmas cards!

I look forward to using these little clothespins in future displays :)

Glittery Gift Tags

In the midst of Christmas preparations and wanting to create a little extra love to wrapped gifts, I put together some glittery gift tags. With soft blue or lavender base, the tags pop with gold or silver glitter flowers. They've got a bit of whimsy and a bit of sparkle, the perfect accessory for any brown paper package.

Purple and gold is love.

Little gold flags! You can write names or celebratory words like "cheer" and "joy" on them.

A few packages with the tags. Love how they dress up plain packaging.
