For the love of weddings

Below are the pieces of my invitations that need to be held together.

I printed our monograms on Papersource 1.25" round labels and adhered them to 1.75" circles I punched from various purple and yellow papers.
A close up of the circles. These would camouflage where the ends of the belly band meet. They also allow us another us for our monograms :)
We used lavender and yellow ribbons to wrap around the invitations.
Mini glue dots secured both ends of ribbon to one another.
There was a little overlap of the edges.
More mini glue dots to secure the circle monogram.
Monogram to finish off the belly band. I placed a book over this to ensure everything was secured tightly.
Back of our invitations :)
And the final product.I like the utility of a belly band and am happy with the way mine turned out.
How did you keep your wedding invitation together?
