To help you along: Bathroom Baskets

My mother had recently given us two baskets (hooray free stuff) for our reception hall bathroom baskets. We made a trip to Target this weekend and found some great travel sized items to fill them with.

One basket was larger than the other, perfect since the women's basket would be filled with more items. Both baskets contained the following: mini box of kleenex, 2 packs of wet ones, q-tips, lotion, band aids, mouthwash, Altiods, gum, and ibuprofen.

The baskets didn't really fit our color scheme or wedding look, so I attached a purple and yellow circle shaped sign hoping on each. Hopefully the sign corresponded enough with the look of our other wedding stationery. The sign read, "please help yourself to some toiletries".

The women's basket was full basic and fun things. I opted for cute lotions and hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works and Hello Kitty band-aids. This basket also had a mini Tide to-go pen, feminine hygene products, and bobby pins.

The men's basket was pretty simple. I added the Mario Bros bandaids for a nice, nostalgic touch.

These items should help the guests with their basic toiletry needs.

Am I missing any essentials? If you had a bathroom basket, what did you add to it?

Hooray for free is right! Everything is adding up so quickly in this wedding-planning biz and anything free sounds good to me nowadays! :)

I just bought 2 wicker baskets that I will be filling with bathroom goodies too. Perhaps you can spray paint your basket yellow or purple. I am going to spray paint mine either white or pink to go with my theme. The mister refuses to have a "girly" white basket in the mens' room so he wants me to spray his basket black. We'll see about that. A few more items that you can add in the ladies' basket is clear nail polish, a hair brush or comb, and safety pins. Never know when you will need those items. Also, you can add a comb, a small tube of hair gel, and a can of Axe body spray in the mens' basket (in case someone forgets to wear deodorant, haha). Can't wait to see the finished baskets! Oh, and I absolutely LOVE the fun band-aids. I am going to have to copy you on the Mario Bros band-aids since the mister is planning on having a Nintendo groom's cake. haha.

Love the Mario Bros. bandaids! You could also throw in tums.
