With our engagement session a few days away, I have collected some inspirational photos of couples that utilized props/themes for their sessions. Why props/themes? Well because they're fun and can add a quirky and relaxed manner to the photographs.
I love when architecture and nature are involved in the photo, but I also love how props and accessories can add some whimsy. Ideas on the list included: food, toys, phones, sunglasses, balloons, bikes, etc.
The following are just a few of my favorites.
Phones. The photo above is just too cute!! We could use our Blackberries.
Sunglasses and mustaches! Too perfect, too fun!
Candy would be sweet ;)
Hula hoops. It would also be way cute to see photos of a couple hula hooping, too.
Bikes. Tandem bikes, mountain bikes, or beach cruisers.
Fruits are fun for a picnic engagement session.
Doggy.
Or doggies :) I wish I had a pet to bring along to the session.
Ribbon.
Bouquet.
Basketball.
Balloons. The balloon idea, which is quite the popular trend, is something we plan to do. Whether the balloons are bunches or a single, the statement is still beautiful.

My fave is the pinwheels. So cute.
Gotta love props! I love the iPhone idea - maybe we should have my old phone with his new iPhone.
We're using ribbon wands, an antique fan, and the flowers. We may do the hula hoops and the balloons idea is kinda sucking me in too.
they're all so cute. we have our engagement photos coming up and i'm trying to think of something to use. somehow i think we'll just look dorky!
