Angry Little Girls is a comic by Lela Lee. I remember stumbling upon it in college and falling more in love with it when I started dating the mister. ALG humor is so witty and smart, while the drawings are so simple and to the point. With different characters each having a fun storyline (Deborah the disenchanted princess, Wanda the fresh little soul sistah), my favorites have always been the comics containing interactions between Kim and Bruce. She's the angry little Asian girl and he's the boyfriend. Their relationship, a mix of love/harshness/comedy, is similar to how I see my relationship with the mister. Though ours isn't as harsh or as funny.
For a while I wanted to incorporate the comic into our wedding. It's cuteness factor and humor won me over and the mister is still "thinking about it". I especially love the collection from their Valentine's Day book.
The page size is perfect for table number displays :) So as we lightly consider this option for table numbers (some family and friends might not get the humor), please enjoy a few photos of the illustrations in the book (and please forgive the quality of photos, I couldn't find good lighting).
