This was really intersting to read. With all my wedding planning..I have been reading lots of books. I have heard of the money dance and heard that it was common in the south. I didn't realize how it was also used in other cultures. I never liked the idea of a money dance...but the way to describe it sounds SO FUN! Makes it much more creative and fun then people just dancing with the bride and giving her money.
I think you doing it sounds like a really neat idea especailly since it sounds like it is something very common within your culture.
