We spent Saturday around LA enjoying food trucks, macarons, and old and new friends. It was a serendipitous sort of Saturday. Sunny, cool, and full of love.
The eating was great (hot dogs, boba tea, macarons, pho, Chinese Mexican fusion), but the discussions even better. We talked marketing and business start-ups, style and styling, dreams, and celebrations. College friends were so encouraging and have such great ideas and connections. There was a 1 year anniversary party of a super cute shop that made me want to achieve similar success. And we bumped into Lovely Jubilee, who styled the anniversary party, strives for growth/support of the independent creative community ("it's not about taking your piece of the pie, but making the pie bigger for everyone"), and is just so full of love.
The flurry of ideas inspired me to create projects with those in my community of friends. I'm excited for what's to come.

Your weekend sounds like it was bursting with inspiration! I love how getting together with friends can do that. As for the eats, it all sounds fantastic. Have you been over to Pazzo Gelato yet? I miss LA so much. (Never thought I'd say that.)
