Last Weekend

Gloomy Monday and Tuesday mornings have me (already) dreaming of the weekend. Oh the joys of sleeping in, indulging, and afternoon walks :) Last weekend was no exception. We enjoyed a yummy brunch, stumbled upon the Wheels and Waves car show on State Street, enjoyed the sun, and got a surprise in the mail.

Rancher's omelet from Cajun Kitchen with hash browns.

How did they stop the car like this? How did they get out?

I like classic cars.

Pinkberry Mango cone :)

Favorite flower of the day.

Vernal Festoon necklace arrived in my mail box early :)

Hope that your weekend
was fun and that the work week is going well.

What a gorgeous necklace! YAY!!! And I'm with you....dreaming of the weekend already even though I'm home today sick and I have to work on Saturday. I'm flying in and out to Minnesota all in one day for work. Blah.... :)

That is truly strange with that car up like that! I love how you always get such great shots when you're out and about. I wish I was a better blogger like that. Our friends just went to Bali for their honeymoon like a week after we went there and they posted like 136 pictures on Facebook...I think I maybe took like 25 :) I am a horrible photo taker. Glad I have blogs like yours to inspire me :)

@THE ALTERNATIVE WIFE: hope you feel better soon.

@Chocolate Lover: aren't car shows fun? it is like going back in time :)

@Born to be Mrs. Beever: thank you :) i always try to get photos of where i am/what i'm doing, but i'm sometimes afraid that taking that time means that i'm actually missing out on what is going on.

gloomy days are better spent in SB than LA...trust me. :)

btw, we went by rose cafe yesterday and they're closed on mondays. :( mister actually knew the place and completely forgot about its existence so he was happy to be reminded of it. we'll def. go next time.
