Last view before we headed home. Sunsets and palm tress are my favorite California views.
Last Saturday, January 16, we had a late lunch/early dinner and took the long way home, deciding to stop at Goleta Beach to enjoy the sunset.
This was the view facing UCSB's Campus Point.
Another serene day of colorful skies :)Having it rain for the majority of the week has made me miss the warm sun and the beautiful colors of sunset. This has prompted hubs and I to make a sort of 2010 resolution to have a "Sunset Saturday" each weekend that we are in SB. To enjoy our beautiful city and to be thankful.

Beautiful views!! The rain in L.A. has been making me sad. I take the sunny skies for granted most of the time. I'll have to keep the Ellwood Bluffs in mind the next time I am in SB. Love these photos!

these are sooo gorgeous! ur so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. J & I love sunsets too. for years we've been taking pictures of them outside of our bedroom window. we get a great view of lower manhattan. we have so many pix of the same view with the twin towers in the pix. its so sad that they're not there anymore... :( anyway, on to happier thoughts, we are going to st. thomas for 5 day this wed and we always get great sunsets there so i should get to see some good ones real soon! :)
i definitely have weekly traditions especially since the new year. we've been cooking all day every sunday which has been fun. and also we've been reclaiming our weekends and spending them together. i couldn't be happier :)
