The moment I wake up, before I put on my make up: Getting Ready

I woke up a little before 7am to shower and begin my day. In the quiet moments of the first hour, I was filled with excitement and a bit anxious for everyone to arrive in my room, but also wanted to soak in the last moments of solitude before the hustle and bustle. Soon enough mom arrived with breakfast and sister brought in her hair and shoes. Then TEAM hair & makeup arrived and set up, then the bmaids and cousins arrived.

Mom got her hair done, an up do and update to the french twist she requested.

Cousins read the day's time line.

I tried to sit still as my hair was being styled.

We hung our dressed by the window.

Our flowers arrived!

Sarah and second shooter, Jeret, arrived and got straight to shooting details.

The schedule was tight. TEAM had their hands full with MOH makeup, my hair, MOB hair, bmaid N makeup, bmaid P makeup, my makeup. We rushed around, my cousins did theirs & MOH's hair, bags were everywhere, a pile of shoes lay on the floor, our dresses lined one of many sliding glass doors, mother and grandmother came in and out of the room, lots of chatter, we read the time line and menu, bouquets were so pretty, Anna is super sweet, photographers were so kind, girls start go get into their dress, finish makeup, and put on dress. It was a total whirlwind.

But we did have time to say a prayer, soak in the beauty of the day, and read an email from my Grandfather who could not attend.

Then it was time to step in my dress. Time to start moving. First look, trolley ride, ceremony were just thoughts an hour earlier, but now they were coming!!

You looked great. Wow, I bet those few minutes of quiet before the day started were so special. It's hard to believe that day is just a few months away for me!
