After the consultations, I started thinking about the significance of a boutonniere which are seen in most formal events including weddings, prom, and funerals. The men wearing boutonnieres at our wedding will be the groom, groomsmen, father, and grandfather, so the boutonniere will denote members of the bridal party and special family members. Boutonnieres can complement the suits, the bridesmaids' dresses & bouquets, fit the wedding theme, display fun personality, make a statement and be a good keepsake. And they can go well beyond just flowers. Here are bouts I love.
You can also go for a statement making white knot, seen on Dustin Lance Black and Cleve Jones, as a symbol of marriage equalityHow did you decide on boutonnieres? Will they correspond with the look of the bouquets?

I LOVE the white knot idea!
@budgetbeautiful: we were thinking we could have them available for guests to wear during the ceremony.
Those are all so pretty! I'm going to be doing peacock boutonieres because I like the colors and I am going to make them myself to save money but still have not decided on my bouquet or colors.
