9/11 Memorial

A stop we had to make while in NYC was to the 9/11 Memorial. It was a solemn visit, full of people paying respect, and something we really wanted to see. The footprints of the towers had me in awe, the amount of people who were there was powerful. And seeing all the names listed was surreal. I am so glad that the memory of that day has not been forgotten and that there is a place to remember.

South Tower.

North Tower.

Never Forget.

I visited the site a few years ago when it was still a hole in the ground. Did you visit the little chapel across the road? It was full of photos and messages for people who died in 9/11 - it moved me to tears

I would like to invite you to enter the Pacifica gift set giveaway at my blog now: http://www.underlockandkeyblog.com/2012/11/pacifica-gift-set-giveaway.html
