With an open schedule a few weekends ago, we took a trip to LA to visit the Getty. It's one of my favorite museum, allows you to get lost in the art for hours, and has vibe I really enjoy. We spent hours wandering the air conditioned galleries, but my favorite part was the outdoors, architecture, views, and sculptures. Here are a few photos from the visit.

Great photos! I really wish I could have gone to the Getty when I was in LA, but we didn't have time for more than just driving up to the parking lot for the views.
I've only been there once. I want to go again because I never got the chance to fully walk around. It was definitely beautiful!

I got to visit the Getty twice while I was living in CA -- it's certainly one of my favorite places in LA. I love that you can just wander the outdoor area or stroll through and look at the art. It's the perfect place to spend a day.
