My Favorite S'mores

Ham Porter: Hey, you want a s'more?

Smalls: Some more of what?

Ham Porter: No, do you want a s'more?

Smalls: I haven't had anything yet... so how can I have some more of nothing?

Ham Porter: You're killing me, Smalls! These are s'mores stuff. Now pay attention. First you take the graham. You stick the chocolate on the graham. Then, you roast the mallow. When the mallow's flaming, you stick it on the chocolate. Then you cover it with the other end. Then, you stuff. Kind of messy, but good!

Do you remember the s'more scene from The Sandlot? It's one of my favorite scenes from that movie for the line, "You're killing me, Smalls"! It's also a stand out because of the making of a favorite childhood treat, the s'more.

With the simplicity of ingredients, I've made many traditional s'mores around a campfire, at family bbqs, and in the microwave. But my current favorite s'mores are the rethought/reconstructed ones.

Gotta Have S'more's smuffins may be one of my favorite desserts. Roasted marshmallow and a topping sit in a chocolate dipped graham cracker cup. So simple and just a few bites, the smuffin makes me happy.


Truck Norris' Lumpia Smores contain marshmallow and chocolate wrapped in a spring roll, is fried then drizzled with a chocolate sauce and graham cracker crumbs. Light and sweet, they are great to share or keep to yourself ;)
