Carry me home

At the beginning of all my wedding planning I found an array of pretty ring bearer pillows, and then I saw Paloma's Nest ring bowl. The delicate look, cream color, and custom wording caught my eye. It would be a darling keepsake for after the wedding. Imagine my surprise and happiness to learn I won a giveaway for a ring bowl of my very own hosted by Weddingbee. I had been in love with the custom ring bowls for a while and was so very grateful to Caroline and Mrs. Bee for the opportunity to receive one.

The bowl choices were a "to have and to hold" ring bearer bowl, a custom wording ring bearer bowl, or their new plain bowl with a gold loop.

A custom ring bowl was exactly what I wanted. Inspired by "I carry your heart" by e e cummings, the wording we chose was:

I carry your heart
-ourdate-
J&M

The poem is so beautiful. It says, so simply, what we feel about each other.

i carry your heart by e e cummings

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart)

i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)

i fear no fate (for you are my fate,my sweet)

i want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)

and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

What will your ring bearer carry? If you chose a custom ring bowl from Paloma's Nest, how did you choose your wording?

I love it - congrats on the contest. I have been contemplating a Paloma's nest bowl for awhile. I am just going to go ahead and do it.
