If our budget was overwhelmingly generous and I could choose any designer dress, I would pick a lovely gown by Monique Lhuillier. Her dresses look so delicate and beautiful, with such great detailing.
I really like the cut of the dress and the A-line skirt. The texture detail provides a good depth to the simple style.
The simplicity of this dress got me. Love the neckline, structure, and the way the skirt flares out at the bottom. The fold details at the bottom of the skirt add a fun twist to the dress.
Beautiful lace, neckline, and silhouette. The color is so beautiful as well. It's like she's a column.
The lace details on the dress rocks. I like the added bow and shrug. Style looks a bit mermaidy, and the way the skirt sways out looks like the dress has good movement.
I really love lace and A-line dresses. Waist line is beautiful as well.
After scouring countless dress sites, both dream and reality, I know I really like strapless A-line dresses in lace or with some fun detailing. Sturcture is also important. And so is price. I will work on more posts with dresses the fall into my budget.
We're planning to go dress shopping this weekend. I really like the inspiration that I have gathered, feel like I know what I want, and hope the whole dress hunt goes smoothly.
How is/has your dress hunt gone?

I was pretty much set on a Monique Lhuillier and then realized that I could spend $5000 in a much better way. Her dresses are gorgeous and totally perfect for petite women.
Good luck with the dress shopping! It's not an easy process but can be really fun!
@ Tiffany: thanks! I'm looking forward to shopping and 100% agree that money can be spent in a better way.
