Deck the Halls at the Presidio Motel
Last Saturday was Deck the Halls at the Presidio Motel in SB. A holiday pop-up mall, this event showcased independent designers, artists, and local businesses, opening every guest room at the motel to holiday shoppers. We headed over excited about what we would find and to explore the motel after it's recent feature on Apartment Therapy.Below are a few of my favorite finds and some great room decor.
Vinyl Decals by Katrina Trajano. Lots of shapes, sizes, colors, and perfect to dress up any room for the holidays and anytime.
Angela Lang felted ornaments. I purchased a fluffly purple and yellow one, of course ;)
Feathered earrings.
Vintage brass and other findings by Bocage New York. Look out of new pieces featuring some of these pretty charms :)
The Mercury Lounge had a room, too. There were lots of festive drinks made even more festive by the snowflake stickers on the cups.
Succulents!
Handmade edison light bulb pendant lamps by Simone Rubi.
Adam Harteau stationery, hand made fountain pens, and art journal.
Note cards and gift tags by Karen Nedivi.
The hotel decor was also quite fab. Each had minimalist, clean lined furniture and a neutral palette, while the art decals gave all sixteen rooms an individual feel. We had lots of fun exploring all of the details in each room.
Disco ball and snowflakes.
Flowers and squares.
Circus theme :)

One of my favorites was this truck dumping anvils from a cliff while fairy pushes them away.
As a fan of handmade and supporting locals, I thought this was such a great event. We met lots of cool people in a great atmosphere. Hope another event comes around soon :)
