Deck the halls: DIY Chirstmas Ornaments

On the search to give my mother something unique for Christmas, and Inspired by blah to TADA, I decided to create some personal ornaments for the family's Christmas tree.


Purple is my mom's Christmas color theme this year (she changes it every year) so these purple glass ornaments (on sale for $4.00!) were a perfect start. You could say their lack of detail is "blah".


Here is the before. Pretty color, shiny, simple.


And after! I used extra craft stickers and decals to adorn each ornament.


Daisy decal.


Flower decal.


Blue square cut rhinestones that are grouped together in 4s for a more dramatic effect. Ended up reminding me of tetris.


Glittering stars in silver and gold were glued on to this ornament.


Pearl decal, had to incorporate a heart into the ornaments :) It is similar in design to one of my hangers.


Love spelled out in purple rhinestones.

This was a very simple DIY and I think she's gonna love them :)
