Three Coins in a Fountain, Through the Ripples How They Shine -Sinatra

A very popular and photographed location at the Santa Barbara Mission is the fountain. It stands between the parking lot and Mission doors, always surrounded by people. There are the tourists taking photos, kids tossing coins in, and couples admiring the beauty. The fountain is the most beautiful during the spring and summer months when the lily pads are in bloom, and the soft yellow and pink flowers float serenely. Coins may ripple the water, disturbing the fish or landing on lily pads, but the flowers are still beautifully calm. The fountain goes well with weddings since fountains are where we go to make wishes, and when we marry, that is one wish that has come true.
