LA Craft Experience Recap

My weekend at the LA Craft Experience in Los Angeles Chinatown was a good time. Taking place during the Chinese New Year celebration, LACE was a chance to vend with great artists and crafters, meet lots of locals, enjoy cultural activities, yummy food, and food trucks, and get honey my heart out there.

The setting was cozy, the weather was warm, the energy was positive. All the makings of a good weekend!

I tried stopping by a lot of booths and talking with my fellow vendors. Below are a few of highlights.

Lots of great illustrations at Bill Green Studios. My favorite is the Duddah print on the top right. The Dude abides.

Love Nail Tree. Great shirts and vintage inspired jewelry.

Enchanted Leaves had so many cute charms on necklaces and a booth full of green. Standing in it was like being in a forest.

My favorite piece by Sweet Siren Designs.

My booth was directly across from this wall of great posters by The Poster List. Loved all of the designs and Adam's ability to stand all day!

Double Hearts Treasure had fluffy feather earrings and various pearls/charms on chains that clipped on earrings and hairpins.

Double Hearts also has amazing heart rings, "yes" and "love" rings, and can personalize a ring with your name or initial. Definitely check them out!

The Last Supper Designs had beautifully designed, customized jewelry.

Really loved this hair flower by Pieces of Inspiration, who also carry whimsical head bands and charm bracelets.

My booth was simple and small, with a pink, white, and brown color palette inspired by this chicly styled shoot.

We did a lot of heart cut outs and decals, since Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

Flower stud earrings in heart shaped paper. Yes, they are in a big egg holder :)

Filigree band flower rings and filigree flower cup rings.

Table of various necklaces.

More love incorporated into the jewelry.

I was really fortunate to have friends and family come by my booth throughout the weekend. One very cool person was Mo of Pink Argyle! She is just as sweet and cute as her blog, and definitely love how our outfits matched :)

The whirlwind weekend was a lot of great things. I am so thankful for the wonderful help of my husband and family with booth setup, take down, and throughout the day, for the cool people who stopped by and purchased a piece or took a business card, for meeting very cool vendors, for the yummy food trucks we got to try (post on that coming!!), for the warm reception I got from everyone, and for the efforts of LACE staff.

I learned a lot and am feeling energized and inspired.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

ps. At about an hour before close on Sunday, there was a multi-car accident on Hill Street, right by our location. Prayers and positive thoughts go out to the elderly couple injured in the crash.
