The Bradbury Building

We got to tour the Bradbury Building in Downtown LA last month. A good friend worked there (just moved offices!) so we got to tour the place, explore the floors, and ride the awesome elevator. It was a great experience to visit such a historical building (and famous!) and appreciate the architecture.

Hannah ready for some good architecture.

Light flooding in at the entrance. I am in love with the staircases.

The elevator!

It was so bright and warm on the top floor.

Looking down to the ground floor.

The Bradbury building is sooooo dreamy. Definitely a gem in DTLA, the warm colors and airy vibe make me happy. Now if only JGL was there ;)

El Andaluz

I always day dream about buying a house in Santa Barbara. Something near the ocean, with enough rooms to house visiting family, and great outdoors space. Spanish architecture and a relaxed feel would be a plus. My day dreams only go as far as viewing listings online, but we sort of visited a lovely place recently.

Nestled in the vibrant downtown area, just a block from State Street, El Andaluz is a collection of luxury condos and retail space. We've actually driven by it plenty of times, but finally took the time to explore some of the grounds and enjoy the details and architecture.

Awesome tiled ceilings.

Having too much fun ;)

While we are still very much priced out of this place, I am still excited for the day we get to own our own property.

Are there place in your city that you'd love to call home?
