Thankful

I give thanks for such a wonderful 2012 so far. I had the privilege to travel to my homeland and to NYC, the opportunity to do what I love and love what I do, the blessing of meeting/bonding with all of my younger cousins in Manila, the ability to relocate to LA, the chance to foster new relationships and build on those I already have, and the abundance of love. There have been a fair share of ups and downs, but the blessings have made it all worth while.

Thank you all for being on this journey with me. Happy Thanksgiving.

Give Thanks

It has been a very busy few weeks here and the blog has been quiet, but today I'm back! I am linking up with Julie Ann Art, adelynSTONE and After Nine To Five for the Give Thanks Link-Up Party!! Thank you to the ladies for hosting this wonderful linkup and allowing me the opportunity to share some of the super awesome blessings in my life.

I am thankful for:

+wonderful family and friends. I can't imagine where I would be without a support system like them :)

+enjoying food trucks with loved ones. We love food, we love each other. Adding the two together makes a great combination.

+living in a place where this is essentially my backyard. The beach is my favorite place.

+having the opportunity to travel to new places this year.

+constant inspiration.

+growing my business.

+learning new techniques that allow me to create new designs and styles.

+the independent design community and everyone's love of supporting/uplifting each other.

+wonderful blog friends who post great comments :)

+the USPS and being able to send love through the mail.

+those who choose to create and buy made in America.

What are you giving thanks for?

Thanksgiving Weekend

It was such a treat and break to take a long weekend and visit the in-laws for Thanksgiving. They live in northern CA and the drive up is a long one, but some scenic views, like the above taken just past sunset on the 101 north after El Capitan, make it not so bad.

Leaves turning colors out the guest room window.

One of our favorite things to do while visiting family is playing with our niece. She is just such a fun and energetic kid, always talking our ears off and thinking of activities for us to do.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with family.

My plate.

Husband's plate.

And pie :)

The drive home was long, but the rainbow sighting was a nice ending.

Hope you all are well :)

Thanks!!

I am thankful for the beauty in the everyday, family & friends & bloggers, and love.

Thank you, my friend, once again
For reminding me that this should never end.
You've inspired me again,
Know what I mean.
We always will be true.

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving :)

There's so much to be thankful for: Happy Thanksgiving!

We alternate holidays between our families and since we will visit the hubs' fam this Thanksgiving, my fam decided to have an early Thanksgiving dinner this past weekend. My bro flew down from SF, my sister was home from college, and my grandma is still here (she came for the wedding and flies out in Dec), it was perfect timing. We were all thankful for the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with both sides of our families :)

Hubs was also happy to have the chance to enjoy green bean casserole & stuffing 2 times in a week :)

Hubs, my sis, and my bro were ready to dig in.

Love

Family

My grandma coming all the way from the Philippines for the wedding. She is one of my 2 living grandparents and the only one healthy enough to travel.

Hello Kitty & the Lakers (combined nicely in the above art by plasticgod).

The amazing people who helped my wedding day happen.

Also food, photos, blog & twitter friends, laughter, sunny days, warm homes, smiles.

And thank you to my readers for accompanying me on my wedding journey and beyond!

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend everyone :)

And if i ever didn't thank you-you, Then just let me do it now

Blogging has been light due to a short work week and travel plans. I am very happy and fortunate for the things that surround me, and extremely thankful for family, faith, my love, friends, my job, the lakers, and good food.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! See you next week.
