Food Truck Love from LACE

We were fortunate enough to hit up a lot of food trucks during our weekend at the LA Craft Experience. The trucks were parked in the lots by the vendor booths and lines were quick, so we were able to sample bites of different cuisines for our various meals. Also, since my bro and husband were helping me the entire weekend, sharing an order made for not being too piggy.

Below are photos of what we ate.

Pork, chicken, and beef tacos from Calbi truck.


Lobster roll from the Lobsta Truck. Half was lobster with mayo, other half was lobster with butter. I'm more of a butter and lobster person.


Mood Indigo burger from Pattywagon. In the Mood Indigo burger is bleu cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, all on our toasted ciabatta roll. So good, grass fed beef, and the perfect size!


Tornado Potato! Fun to look at, a bit hard to eat, but snackable and very popular among the crowds.


Dogtown Dogs Chile Relleno dog. It was like a deconstructed chile relleno, but just as good! I'm a fan of meat in tube form (what's up Anthony Bourdain)!


Cheesy tots from Dogtown. Good and fun, but not healthy. Heeheee.


Strawberry and blueberry crepe from Crepe'n Around. So delish! I'm wishing we got a savory one, too.


Handcut French Fries from Munchie Machine. I liked them!


Coolhaus truck's Guinness chip on oatmeal cookie and toasted almond nutella on snickerdoodle!


Close up of the nutella and snickerdoodle. Hubs and bro got to enjoy these icecream sandwiches as I was helping a few customers at the booth. They inhaled the sandwiches in 2 minutes, so I have to go by their raves and the photos, but each looks so great. I think if I made an icecream sandwich it would be chocolate chip cookie filled with pistachio truffle. Definitely have to find them again real soon.


Finally, Yummy Mac from Mac 'n' Roll. The Yummy Mac is all beef sausage, sour cream, onion, and mild cheddar. We also tried the classic mac and deep fried mac rolls with avocado ranch dipping sauce.
