Carved Shell Flowers and Tiny Pearls

For the Spring I wanted to update one of my favorite styles, the Carved Shell Flower Earrings. A little tweaking of the original style, some material changes, and gathering inspiration from my surrounding environment gives these earrings a fresh new look. The carved shell and freshwater pearl materials are inspired by the walks on the beach and natural materials found there, while the flowers are inspired by the blossoms of the Spring season. This updated version comes as dangling earrings, and as a matching set of earrings and necklace.

Anyone ready for Spring?

Drops

On the heels of my Lovely Clusters necklaces comes these drop earrings. Designed to coordinate well with the necklaces, the earrings are simple and sublte but add a flirtyness to the look. Gemstones add a nice natural, colorful, organic, and fresh touch :)

Finally, amethyst and gold. Purple and gold because I miss the Lakers. The NBA lockout needs to end.

Happy Tuesday!

She wishes for flowers

Bought these lovelies at J.Crew over the weekend. I've been eying them online for a while and justified it as a wedding related purchase, my maybe "something blue". Or maybe they were cute really cute and I had to have them :)

My photos don't do them justice. Their blue color is deep and bright, and the center is so sparkly. The earrings also have a matching bracelet and ring. Put them all together for a beautiful set of wedding jewelry. I love flowers as jewelry because they are so feminine. They also are a lighthearted accessory perfect for a garden wedding.

edit: these are really heavy!
