Shop Anniversary

It's been a year since I officially launched the honey my heart jewelry line, and oh has it been an awesome adventure. We've done countless amazing shows, gone through various packaging designs, continued to progress in jewelry styles and designs, met the coolest friendors (vendor friends), met equally cool and sweet customers and brides to be, enjoyed some media coverage, learned countless lessons, have our jewelry in stores, enjoyed the support of family, found out that friends are great resources, learned what I want to do and where I want to go, and am doing what I love/loving what I do.

There have also been ups and downs, lots of questions about the future, melancholy marketing mind aches, plenty of brainstorming, and budgeting. And I'm glad to say everything has been for the positive and continuous benefit of our growth.

I want to thank all of you for your interest in honey my heart. Thank you for the comments on the blog, the wonderful words, and support. We've come a long way from a year ago, and have nothing but full hearts and big dreams for the future.

As a celebration, I've updated the look of my etsy shop and listed plenty of new items! And please use this coupon code "honey1" for 15% off anything in the shop.

Happy Thursday!! Wishing you all a wonderful September.

Paper Anniversary

Today is my 1 year wedding anniversary! Since it is the paper anniversary, we decided to purchase tickets to various concerts since they fit into the "tradition" of paper and live music adds an extra punch to the gift. We saw Phoenix last week and have two more concerts to go :)

What did you get your partner on the paper anniversary?

Hope you all have a great day!!

We've changed a lot and then some, you know that we have always been down

September 18th is our six year anniversary. Kinda crazy. From carefree undergrads to seriously engaged, party fiends to comfortable homebodies, students to having careers, blissfully in our little world to ready to break out to something new. I really don't know where the time has gone. I do know that it's been a great ride. One of great beauty and understanding, that shows that love will lead you to great things. We are not the people we were when we began this relationship, we are better versions of ourselves because of this relationship.

I took the photo above on my way back to work from lunch. Sky is changing, weather feels different. It's move in weekend for UCSB this weekend. Time for more kids begin their first year of college. It's exciting to think what life changes are in store for them.
