After having my wedding cake topper header up for a few months now, I wanted to change the header to something less wedding related and to include my new blog name stamp. I also wanted something with depth, texture, my favorite colors, and fun. While ideas swirled in my head, I realized that neither my office or home computer have Photoshop so using a photo/stamp combo or having a super cool graphic designed header would not be possible (I'm not very versed in Photoshop anyway) so I decided to do what I'm comfortable with and put together some paper.
Orchid color ink + white paper + new scallop stamp + colors that I love = a fresh start!
Here are a few I considered:
Blog name and heart confetti.
Blog name and pink & green scallop circles.
Blog name and Martha Stewart Deco Shells punch.
Blog name, pink/purple/yellow scallop circles, and pink heart.
Blog name, layered doilies and circles, and a little heart. With a little photo cropping, this is the header :)How did you decide on your blog header?

ps. my blog header is just a pic of audrey hepburn that hubby had photoshopped my face into...and painted it on canvas for me for a valentines day present!

This is so fun! I like your current header and the confetti possibility.
I recently updated my blog header (and everything actually) too. I looked through some photos I liked that would look good in a long slender layout. After photoshopping and playing for a day or so, I got a pretty rainbow out of it.
