There was some resistance and a few questions at first. But we explained to everyone walking is green, you get to enjoy the ocean breeze, it would take 5 minutes, and there would be no risk of drunk driving at the end of the night, they all seemed on board. And with a group that included immediate and extended family, the bridal party, and a few friends, it would just be one of those random wedding memories :)
So take me by the hand...
