London Calling: Maggy London Dresses

After putting together viable bridesmaid dress options, I wanted to find a few more off-the rack, budget friendly options.

Going for the look similar to the bridal party pictured above (in dresses that complement each other, are within our color scheme, and are versatile for use outside of the wedding), I think that purchasing off the rack would help with turn around time and be kind to our pocketbooks. Just have to keep in mind material, length, style, and designer to provide a sort of underlying uniformity.

Enter Maggy London and her flowing dresses. Gorgeous styles, dressy yet comfortable, priced competitively, and available in our wedding colors.

Here are a few dresses that would work for the wedding:

Yellow is sweet for summer.

Lavender is soft and subtle.

And violet is sexy and stylish.

I plan on helping pay for a portion the dress although I wish I could fund the entire cost. Also plan on suggestions for shoe and accessory styles to finish off their ensembles, hopefully they'll have some options already in their closets ;)

How did you decide on dresses? Were you mindful of their budget? How much of their look did you have a hand in deciding
?

bridesmaid dresses are a teeny regret of mine! I didn't know there were so many alternatives, and I ended up picking a very "bridesmaid-y" dress.
I think given more time and more resources (to search) early on, I would've chosen something slightly more affordable, but definitely less traditional.

Cost is hard, because everyone knows it costs some money to stand up in a wedding! I'm a big fan of just gently refusing if you can't pay rather than complaining.

I love the first two yellow dresses by the way!

@Katie: cost is definitely hard, i'm really trying to be cautious about how much i'm asking them to spend.
