Finally recovered from a truly amazing Unique LA Holiday Show and ready to recap the weekend. Between being bombarded with amazing customers, seeing friends and family, meeting new vendor friends, personalizing jewelry for lovely ladies, making great connections... I was able to take some time to myself and shop. Because buying local and Made in USA is always good, especially during the holidays :) Below are a few of the many, MANY awe inspiring designers who were part of the best show yet.
Awesome bags by Graf & Lantz. Their colors are always so classic and the bag shapes are so perfect.
Paper Chase Press. Such sleek and simple stationery.
Our friends at Z Confections now make Salted Caramel Corn! There is a spicy flavor with a kick, but my favorite is cinnamon. I need to buy these as stocking stuffers.
Jasper Loves Wren make the cutest onesies! Each felt design is cut and sewn onto soft cotton onesies. These are perfectly fun for so many babies! They were also my table neighbor and such a cool mom!
My other table neighbor was anemone letterpress. I have always admired their bright and colorful letterpress cards. The fact that they offer both Christmas and Hanukkah cards is the best. After purchasing a few cards on Sunday, all are sent out to friends and family! Carrie and her husband were such nice people, and my husband loved talking SF sports with them :)
I'm always impressed by the LOVE NAIL TREE booth. Tyler and Michelle are always so wonderful and truly inspirations in the independent design community. Their neon sign is beyond.
I love a good card and this "You're Awesome" card by Quiet Tiger is awesome.
Beautifully hand drawn studs by A Million City Lights.
Bunnies by Neutra. They are wooden and painted. So cool.
Imperial's branding is so on point. The gentlemen selling these products were perfectly groomed. Though Imperial is geared towards men, I wanted to buy from them because of their style.
We Are All Smith and WHYRHYMER are always a draw. Love that there is now a kids line here!
In love with Love Birds clutches. The bright colors and intricate patterns are so eye catching.
The Motley is another mens' brand that I love and buy/use myself. So simple and easy.
And I love the mantra of Make Shop Live: Living a life of rePURPOSE.
We chose to go neutral in this holiday's table display. Cream and gold were the main colors, and we let the bright beads and gemstones do the talking.
Love that the Feelin' Golden necklaces were loved by so many.
Our view for the weekend did not disappoint. And to add a little flair, we put up our name spelled out in balloons, added some streamers, and made a little seating area complete with disco ball and wrapped gifts.
We also added my sister to the official honey my heart crew.
And we shopped!
Unique LA is the best. The community they foster, the design they develop, and the people who participate are all so inspiring and wonderful. This show was record breaking for hmh, encouraged us to keep creating/developing/pushing forward, and sprouted a little/big opportunity. I have nothing but love for Sonja, Aisha, Marat, and the whole crew. They continually bring it.
Hope you're all enjoying your week friends!
