Tissue Paper Fringe Jewelry Boxes DIY
Inspired by the awesomeness that is Confetti System and this Martha Stewart Tissue Paper Decoration, I spruced up some of my jewelry boxes with some gold tissue paper fringe. Supplies were minimal (box, tissue paper, glue, choice of decal), putting them together was pretty simple, and the outcome is something fun and festive.Below are my steps. I used gold color tissue paper, but hot pink and yellow would also be great colors to use :)
Cut the paper about 1" in height and 2" length. Then make fringe cuts on one side that go about 3/4". Repeat until you have enough fringes to cover the item you want covered.
Layer the fringe from bottom to top.
Once covered, add your choice of decal, sticker, or leave blank.
And there you have it! It's a bit time consuming, but the outcome is worth it.Next up: attempting to cover a 3 drawer storage box. Wish me luck!
