I was enjoying the summer before my sophomore year of college, living on the 8th floor of FT with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean from my room, working as a summer RA, and just finished my one summer school class. He was partying nightly, sleeping in daily, and (maybe) attending a class or 2. We were both friends with a fun and outgoing girl who figured we'd be a good match. She introduced us and as they say, "the rest is history."
We have endured college growing pains, joys of sharing a relationship, fits of wanting independence, crazy parties, countless drinks, differences, similarities, awkward moments, perfect nights, drunken feelings, happy comfort, graduations, real world lives, and ultimately gained understanding. It was when we learned compromise that we knew we were set :) We knew the paths that brought us together and the paths we went on together, brought us to a path to forever.
